Pinewood Toronto Studios has announced it will honor the legacy of Canadian film industry pioneer Paul Bronfman by naming one of its soundstages after him. Bronfman, who passed away in February at age 67, played a pivotal role in establishing and developing the studio facility.

As the longtime chairman of Pinewood Toronto Studios and founding partner of its predecessor Filmport Studios, Bronfman was instrumental in developing Toronto’s premier production facility. His leadership helped transform the studio from its 2008 opening into the world-class facility it is today.

The newly named Paul Bronfman Stage (formerly Stage 7) has hosted numerous high-profile productions including:
